Danilo is an expert on cultural policy and director of Sesc (Social Service of the Commerce) in the state of Sao Paulo since 1984.

He graduated in Philosophy and Social Sciences and held complementary studies in many Brazilian universities and in IMEDE – Management Development Institute, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He has been President of the Cultural World Forum in Sao Paulo in 2004 as well as President of the Brazilian committee during the year of France in Brazil Br2009 in 2008 and 2009. He was also president of ICSW – International council of social welfare – from 2008 until the end of 2010.

Danilo is now a consultant for many cultural institutions in Brazil such as the Sao Paulo Art Biennial Foundation, the Itau Cultural; Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo (MASP) and Todos pela Educação. He is also a Board member of Art for the World (Swtizerland), the ex-vice-president of FEPADET – Pan-American Sport Federation, the former regional president of International Council of Social Welfare and a member of ISPA – International Society for Performing Arts (USA).

In the last years, he has been speaker of innumerous national and international conferences, recognized and awarded all over the country for his management performance on culture. He  was conferred with many rewards to name a few :  the Honor of Zumbi dos Palmares; the Jürgen Palm Honor (by Tafisa); Commander of the National Merit of the French Government; Commander of the Merit of Infante Dom Henrique of the Portuguese Government; the National Merit of the Polish Government, the Great Cross of the German Government and the National Merit of the Belgian Crown.
