The Grands Prix (formerly known as the International Design and Communication Awards) celebrate the original and inventive ways cultural organisations communicate, activate and relate with audiences. In its 8 editions, more than 670 projects have been submitted from institutions around the world.

Created to showcase the best in arts communication, design, engagement and development strategies, the Grands Prix offer a unique platform for the best in the business to showcase best practice and create new connections.
Grands Prix are presented during the Communicating the Arts and Culture Business conferences. Our jury of industry experts will select the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for each of the 16 Grands Prix categories. These winners will be recognised at 4 award ceremonies held throughout the year.
All categories are open for entry.
Entries for categories 1 to 4 can be submitted until 13 May 2019.
The ceremony for these categories will take place on 18 June 2019 during Communicating the Arts Copenhagen.
Entries for categories 5 to 16 can be submitted until 2 September 2019.
The ceremony for categories 5 to 8 will take place on 9 October 2019 during Communicating the Arts Montreal.
The ceremony for categories 9 to 12 will take place on 13 November 2019 during Communicating the Arts Sydney.
The ceremony for categories 13 to 16 will take place on 21 November 2019 during Culture Business Sydney.
