HONOURING CREATIVE EXCELLENCE IN DESIGN AND COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE MUSEUM AND ART WORLD
I created the International Design and Communication Awards (IDCA) in 2007 to celebrate excellent design and communication initiatives across the art world.
The IDCA awards assess communications, design and branding strategies within the art world and museum sphere. They also encourage art organisations to find original and inventive ways to communicate.
Our wish is to provide a new networking forum for communications and design professionals and to increase awareness on how museums, art institutions and galleries use design to communicate.
The IDCA awards encompass 5 different categories, taking into account various aspects of a visual communication and brand strategy. The winners were chosen based on a result of discussions and deliberations by a jury of experts and professionals highly recognized in their fields.
The Awards ceremony will take place in Chicago on 25 September 2018 during Agenda’s 21st Communicating the Museum conference.
