How should cultural organisations take risks, build successful partnerships and find sponsors today? What can we expect from the future of fundraising?
For 2017 Culture Business is delighted to collaborate with our Principal Sponsor, Creative Partnerships Australia, to ask some provocative questions.
The conference will encourage you to take risks and to think beyond the usual limits. Our speakers will showcase fresh ideas in philanthropy, marketing, sponsorship and development. Hands-on workshops will tackle practical methods for operating in new markets. In between these intensive sessions there will be informal opportunities to network with your peers from around the world.
This year Culture Business takes place in Melbourne, a city that combines international arts and culture with a thriving grassroots scene. Over three days, from 26 – 28 July 2017, 250 professionals from the worlds of culture and business will come together at the State Library Victoria and Arts Centre Melbourne, a landmark of Australian modernist architecture and home to the city’s largest centre for performing arts.
Confirmed international speakers for Culture Business Melbourne include:
Culture Business was launched in Paris in the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2008. With many concerned for the future, we brought together experts from the worlds of culture and business to learn from each other and foster new collaborations.
For each conference we attract leading experts in art and culture, marketing and communication, luxury, technology, and consumer business. The conference focuses on marketing and development strategies from around the world: from membership to online retail, public funding and corporate partnerships. We showcase fresh ideas and innovative strategies to help you thrive in uncertain times.
Culture Business has taken place in Paris, Madrid, Sydney, and, in July 2017, Melbourne.
“It was one of the best conferences I have attended, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity.” Annie Burridge, Opera Philadelphia
