Case Study

Launched in 2010, MAS in Young Hands (MiYH) is the youngsters crew of the MAS. Translating the motivations and expectations of young people towards the museum, MiYH has become an annual project where a group of volunteers between 16 and 26 is recruited to work on a full youth museum programme. From 18 October 2018 the youngsters will be taking over a floor of the museum with their own exhibition ‘Instinct’.

Since 2016 MiYH works with Atlas (an organisation who stimulate community integration). Young refugees joined the group to have a better representation of the young society in Antwerp.

You can expect a presentation, appearance of the youngsters and a workshop with do’s and don’ts.
