Case Study

Museum in a Box is an interactive, tactile product that gets museum objects and interpretation directly into people’s hands. It’s a simple combination of 3D printed replica objects or postcards, a Raspberry Pi computer, and audio content, designed to facilitate informal object-based learning in non-museum settings.

We’re working on an ambitious pilot with Smithsonian Institution Libraries, to deploy 20 boxes in 20 underserved schools across the USA for a whole school year. Other clients include the British Museum, London Metropolitan Archives, Jewish Museum London, and London Borough of Camden.
