The 6th edition of Communicating the Museum took place in the vibrant city of Rotterdam from 5 to 7 July 2006. During two days, the keynote speeches, debates and round table discussions got to the heart of this year’s main theme: « Building Partnerships: How to Enlarge Audiences ».
On day 1, professionals from outside industries offered strategic insights and on day 2, international experts from within the museum world shared their own experiences, experiments and policies. It was a real success, in large part due to the diversity and quality of the round table discussions, led by 12 eminent speakers from inside and outside the museum world.
More than ever, the CTM conference was the place to exchange views and ideas, and to meet and network with colleagues and partners.
223 delegates attended from 24 countries around the world.
