The danish game developing company Mystery Makers approached the legendary Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna with an unusual proposition – a treasure hunt taking place amongst the art treasures of the museum.

A treasure hunt may not seem like a good fit for a museum but since the premiere more than a thousand visitors each month pays 2,5 times the entrance price to explore the museum’s world class collection. Moreover Austrian medias went crazy covering this new way of experiencing the museum.

But before the successful opening both organisations in this ongoing public-private partnership had to put their differences aside and focus on what is best for the visitors.
